About the role

As a Strategic Buyer, you will work closely with key stakeholders and other buyers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand specific demand, market dynamics, and critical aspects of the RFx process
  • Analyze the supplier portfolio and identify new opportunities
  • Drive the end-to-end RFx process in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Review and, where applicable, consolidate volumes, harmonize prices, initiate and negotiate agreements, and work with key stakeholders on requirement specifications
  • Drive supplier performance management initiatives, follow up, and report on savings and supplier performance
  • Drive continuous improvement projects

This is a direct permanent recruitment; you will be employed by the client with an initial standard 6-month probationary period. The company offers flexible working hours and a hybrid working setup, with the option to work remotely a few days per week.

Who are we looking for?

You have a few years of experience in strategic procurement and able to confidently and independently drive a full RFx process. You have hands-on negotiation experience. You draft and amend contracts, do not shy away from challenging projects, and enjoy working across a broad set of indirect categories. The variety and different depth of engagement, depending on the nature of the procurement project, motivates you and gives you the energy to develop and thrive.

Qualifications
• 2–5 years of experience in strategic procurement or equivalent
• Post-secondary education in strategic procurement or another relevant field
• Excellent command of Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Driver's license (B)
